Now that you have participated in two lectures demonstrating how to research scholarly articles, you will research one on your own. You are to find one scholarly article you might use for your cause and effect essay. The specific topic is up to you, but some examples are listed below. 

• Effects of air pollution
• Causes and effects of a disease (alzheimers, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, etc.)
• internet influence on children
• Growing up with a single parent
• Bullying among children
• Drug or alcohol use
• Racism in a specific culture or community
• Specific war or international conflict
• Smoking

Once you have found an article complete the following actions:

1. Read the abstract of the article.

2. Look through the article to identify the sections within it.

3. Read the Introduction and Literature Review.

4. Read the Discussion.

Submit the following information as a Word Document 

• The title of the article
• The journal it is in
• The research questions posed or thesis statement
• The results
