Please submit your research essay draft (***The more text you provide us, the better suggestions we can give you for the final version).  These should include the following items:

Formal Title (underlined): A descriptive sentence that tells the reader about the project (here is your chance to be poetic).

Author name (include all group members, too)

Course number and Date

Body of essay (***Citations are required and you can use any method you want, but I prefer footnotes in the Chicago Manual style (http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html):

   - Introduction (your revised proposal)

Then break your story up into sections divided by sub-headings:

  - Part I - Sub-heading and then a discussion of what you think the reader needs to know first to follow your argument/story.

      - Point a

      - Point b

      - Point c

  - Part II Sub-heading

      - Point a

      - Point b

      - Point c

  - Part III (and so on until you have outlined your story)

  - Conclusion (either a recap of the main points of your essay, a discussion looking forward from the end of your essay (some like to discuss how their topic relates to today), or both of these.

Bibliography divided into two sections: 1) Primary sources, and 2) Secondary sources
