Product differentiation when viewed from different angles of marketing, the SWOT analysis is perhaps one of the focal points in determining the business shift of the organization. Leadership comes in all sorts of flavors like candy and product differentiation should be no different because not all tastes are alike; therefore, it is important to make sure products meet the taste needs of the population one wishes to deliver on its promises in the general environment. The power in which a leader possess should enable them to stand out among the rest when they stand on a promise to get things completed within a timely fashion. It is the ability to influence other people’s behavior, to persuade them to do things that they otherwise would not do, and to overcome resistance and opposition to changing direction (Dess, Lumpkin, Eisner and McNamara, 2011, p. 404). The strategy in which one wishes to exercise power is critical for leadership.
