Directions: Using the OUTLINE NOTES you took in your interactive notebook, complete the following:

1.  Take notes (either electronically or by hand) on a lecture in one of your other courses.

2.  While taking notes, use the OUTLINE METHOD.

3.  Your notes should follow this format:

     I. Main idea (usually highlighted in some way): definition

          A. Suptopic

                    1. Detail of subtopic

                    2. Detail of subtopic

4.  Your notes should NOT be in complete sentences, nor should they be verbatim what your instructor said/wrote.  The should include only key information that is important for you to remember.
