Male circumcision is among the most common surgical procedures performed in the United States, although it is less common in other parts of the world. The procedure is performed for a variety of reasons including religious practices, hygiene beliefs and health beliefs. For a number of reasons rates are down in the United States from previous decades
Apart from being painful (at least until recently), for such a common procedure little thought is given to it by many parents of male infants. What are your thoughts? Here are a couple of websites to get the conversation going in this discussion post topic (although feel free to find other sources)
