Communication Errors

I have worked in many different settings and been a float nurse for many years; I’ve noticed how different units and healthcare centers operate, and seen different levels of collegiality, collaboration, and teamwork. I can certainly say that my favorite jobs were in areas and working in teams with great communication.

Briefly describe a situation in your work setting that involved an issue in which poor communication played a part. Identify what the cause of the communication error may have been. What could be a possible solution to the problem?
