Agree with you Amanda that the care giver should know the importance of the responsibilities he or she is taking on. In family developmental theory, family goes through different stages, where as a nurse we can provide an education on their new roles they are performing and helping them to understand the importance of different responsibilities they are going through with different phases of developmental theory. We also have to make sure that family has the knowledge of the support system, so they can get the help from there when they need.
