After reading the story, "Responsibility," (Voices and Values pages 285 - 290) you are to write a paragraph about a time that you have seen someone avoiding responsibility for his or her own problem. Begin with this topic sentence: “Just like the author, M. Scott Peck, I have seen someone refuse to take responsibility for his (or her) own problem.” Then go on to develop your paper by explaining who the person is, what the person’s problem was, how he or she helped to create it, and how he or she blamed others or circumstances rather than accept responsibility.

Here are the requirements of this assignment:

Your paragraph should have a statement of a main idea or purpose, followed by specific examples or details that support and develop that point. You should refer to your Fusion textbook
Your paragraph should contain 10 or more sentences (not counting your topic sentence) that support your main idea/topic.
Your paragraph should be 125 words or more (in the body of your paper---not counting your name, course name, date, or title)

Points will be deducted if this format is not followed!
