Would you agree that it is amazing that the Spanish defeated the Incas with only about 170 men? The Inca warriors numbered in the thousands. The Spanish defeated the Incas without losing a single man in battle. Their steel swords were no match to the spears and arrows that the Incas fought with. The Aztecs were much more advanced and actually held off the Spanish for about a year. However, in both the Aztecs and Incas situation--disease decimated the population.
