8 Chapters

.       1- Assignments are from 8 Chapters (1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 10, and 13) of the textbook Practicing Texas Politics, 16th edition by Lyle Brown, et.al. As few as any of the 4 chapters listed above are acceptable with reduced grades.

3.       2. Treat each chapter separately. Refer to each chapter, named above, by its number & title in the book. Read each chapter in its entirety. Mention 4-6 important issues of the discussion per chapter. Label each issue A, B, C etc. Then provide your own opinion based on the issues chosen. Do not generalize, be specific by referring to particular aspects of the discussion. For each issue, write 2-3 sentences.

4.       3. Paper must be typed in 12 point font and double spaced. Assignment should have a title page. The title page must contain your name, semester of the course and class-section, class Time, title of the assignment, number of chapters included in your report, the date of your report submission. (Example: Name, Fall 2015 Pols 236-03 MWF 1-1:50, Writing Assignment, # of chapters included in your report, date you submitted your report.)
