500 word answer to question based on intro to politics

In your post, you may choose one essay question to answer. In your post I look for demonstrated familiarity with the course content, synthesized understanding, critical analysis, and most importantly your original thinking. Your post is worth five points. You grades should reflect the quality of your work along these criteria. As a general guideline, your post should be about 500 words.

Explaining voter turnout is relatively simple compared to trying to explain what happens when the voter enters the voting booth. Explain and discuss the three models of voting behavior. Consider the strengths and weaknesses of each and end your discussion by suggesting which model offers the best explanation of why people vote as they do.
