1. Research and analyse the conduct of ONE of the following high-profile programmes: (30%) 

a) The UK  London Olympics 2012 Legacy Programme
b) The BBC W1 Programme (2012)
c) The London Ambulance Service (LAS) Computer Aided Despatch
(CAD) system programme 1987-1993
   
Then:

(ll)  Discuss why this programme was considered successful, to what degree you agree that that is so, and the ways 

in which good programme strategy may have contributed OR suggest how utilisation of programme strategy best 

practice might have  improved the situation or even avoided the problems.  (70%)

a) The UK ‘Firecontrol’ project
b) The UK new Wembley stadium project
c) Boston’s (USA) ‘Big Dig’ project
   
Then:

(ll) Discuss the problems encountered consequent of errors in the programme or project strategy and planning

(lll) Suggest how utilisation of programme or project strategy best practice might have  improved the situation or 

even
