This is a reflective piece about your growth as a student.  After speech #3, you will be asked to write a detailed self-analysis. This assignment is designed to help you evaluate your growth and performance in this course.

This paper should be 2-3 pages long. Your papers must be double spaced, in Times New Roman, Size 12, with a cover page.

Discuss how you have improved this semester, and identify areas you will continue to refine.  You must use concepts from the text and course discussions to make valid points. 

Reflexive pieces are about evaluation. You need to assess your knowledge and experiences honestly.

• Think about your expectations on the first day of class
• What did you plan to accomplish
• Discuss concepts you mastered
• Explore concepts that were challenging to address
• Discuss plans for continued improvement
• Remember the page requirement (2-3 pages)
• There is a 50 point deduction for failing to write at least 2 pages
