Review "What is a Software Process Model?" from Visual Paradigm. There are several models used in software development, and two well-known ones are Waterfall and a multiple-components incremental. The phases requirements, design, implementation, test, and maintenance are executed differently in the Waterfall versus a multiple-components incremental model.
