Part 1:

After a particular comedic hypnosis act, 19 out of 30 people surveyed claimed that they were under a hypnotic spell when they did embarrassing things in the audience. Do the results suggest that more than 60% of audience members will become hypnotized during this act? To answer, complete the following:

1. Find a 95% confidence interval for your population proportion.
2. Clearly state the type of test that you should use (t-test, goodness of fit, test about a proportion, etc.) and your chosen level of significance.
3. Write the hypotheses in words AND in correct statistical notation.
4. Clearly identify and interpret the p-value. 
5. Write the conclusion of your test in words.
