MAT 311 Discussion

"Discrete Probability" Please respond to the following:

1. When asked about probability, most people give an example related to flipping a coin, rolling dice, or playing cards.  Let's think beyond those  examples and reflect on your work or your life.  Describe a time where you used discrete probabilities to help solve a problem.  How did this type of thinking help you in that process?
