Linear algebra

Write a short paper (no minimum length) describing an application of linear algebra to a topic that you're interested in. It can contain mathematical details but it doesn't have to. Be sure to include citations and obviously don't plagarize. Turn the paper in with your final exam on June 1 for 10 extra points on your exam. If I think you put in a reasonable amount of effort, you will receive all of the points. If I think you threw something together carelessly you will receive no points. I will be charitable, but don't turn something in that's sloppy. Your paper should at MINIMUM obey the rules of English to convey a certain level of thoughtfulness and care. Goals: try to have some fun, educate yourself, and make a connection to another area of interest.
