The Assignment:

1. Select a company. You may use your current employer or one from the list of  Fortune 500 companies.  Do not select Walmart or Amazon. You will use this selected company for upcoming assignments, so choose one that you are interested in and has good information available. 

2. Research your selected company. This research will be used to support your memo and action plan documents.

3. Create a  1 to 2-page memo that provides your supervisor with your framework for implementing three (3) of the seven (7) “Pillars of Digital Leadership” identified in the Skrabut, S. A. (2014) article that you believe will positively impact digital transformation (i.e., convincing mid-level managers to be change champions and convincing employees that this transformation is not like others that have failed in the past).   Your 3 recommendations should include the use of artificial intelligence. 

4. Develop a  1-page action plan using the template below to provide your supervisor with details about how you plan to implement your 3 pillars of digital leadership framework to prepare mid-level managers and employees for the transformation effort.
