Requirement

Use the sample IDPs (check the link immediately above) or one used by your agency for ideas to develop your own IDP. You have some flexibility in terms of format, but it should contain the essential elements. Your plan can include the completion of mandatory Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) training courses for the acquisition career field if you choose, as well as any continuous learning courses you think will contribute to your job performance. The plan should reflect your career and professional development goals if you are already in the Procurement or Supply Management field. If not, be sure to prepare the IDP as if you were in Procurement/Supply Management. Include sufficient detail that relates to some of the topics we cover in our course.
