Failed Technology Projects

Technical projects fail when they deliver significantly late,  substantially over budget, and/or with significant features missing or  unusable. Sponsors may lose patience and cancel stalled projects. Please  respond to the following:

• Identify an information system development project that failed in any of these ways within the last 3 years. Do not repeat an example from the textbook or one that has been posted by another student. 
• In your opinion, what was the likely root cause of this failure? Explain your reasoning.  

There are no right or wrong answers here, but be sure to support your  position with something you’ve learned this week. Post your initial  response by Wednesday and then return a couple of other days and  interact with your classmates. Discussions are an important part of your  learning.
