In the Prince and the Pauper, Mark Twain utilizes characterization, diction, and imagery to illustrate classes within society.  In this one, you need to argue (prove) how Twain uses these 3 literary elements (characterization, diction, imagery)  to show classes within society.  Each element would have its own paragraph  Definitions of Literary Elements  Characterization: the ways each character is represented by the author, includes descriptions of physical appearance, personality, actions, and dialogue  diction or voice: style of speaking/writing determined by the choice of words, conveys typical mood, tone, atmosphere  imagery: author's use of vivid descriptions that evoke sense of impressions by literal or figurative reference, scenes, actions
