Discussion: What Good is SoTL?

Engaging in the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) may sound attractive but for many faculty it can represent just one more thing to add to an already busy schedule. The benefits of SoTL must outweigh the costs in time and effort in order for it to become a realistic goal for most faculty. This week’s Discussion will allow you to share ideas about the benefits of SoTL.
