The purpose of this assignment is to summarize the concepts of

contemporary Early Childhood Education models and child care programs.

There are many videos available on the Internet that depicts models of

early childhood education. For this assignment, you are to:

1. Find a video clip for each of these models: Montessori, High Scope,

Reggio Emilia and Head Start. YouTube [website] is an excellent

resource.

2. After you review each video, describe five characteristics you

observed about how each program is conducted. The

characteristics should be listed as complete sentences. Please

include a working URL link for each video you review.

3. In addition, write a 500 word essay about which program you

prefer and why. Your essay should be well supported.
