American Government - must read article attached to complete assignment

Your response for this assignment should be at least 500 words long. 

Read the short article regarding the redistricting process and generate a brief response to the reading.  The essay should provide a summary of the competing perspectives presented in the reading and a presentation of your own opinion of the issue at hand.  If you choose to use additional research to support your points, be sure to include references (in-text citations and reference list in APA Style).  The paper (double spaced, 12-point font, and one-inch margins) should be uploaded in the course shell.
