Write a short essay (3-5 paragraphs) introducing yourself. Make sure to include a thesis statement and supporting body paragraphs. Your essay should contain information about you. Here are some suggestions: 

• background-native country, job or schooling in your country, amount of time in US, what brought you here to US, etc
• current life-current job, family situation, reason for attending classes, hobbies or activities you enjoy, goals for semester, strengths and weaknesses as  student, what you hope to learn
• future-major or field of study, future job, future goals for self

You don't have to include everything listed above, but try to include as much as you can. Please add in other pertinent information that will help the teacher get to know you better.
