SELECTION PLAN -

Create a selection plan for the position described in your previous job description assignment.

1. Include the original graded job description assignment with your selection plan

2. Based on the job description and specification:

• List and describe (in the order in which the activities occur) the specific selection methods you

would use to guarantee that the process is reliable and valid. You will be evaluated based on the

order appropriateness.

• Include a thorough explanation of the purpose for each technique selected. This should be in

paragraph format accompanying each method. What do you expect to learn about the candidate from

the “method”? How does the method relate to the job description/specification. The methods selected

should yield the best candidate for the job.

• You must include at minimum 5 (five) methods and one of these must be an interview. The

interview must be structured and include at least 5 questions with at least one question in each

category (Situational, Job Knowledge, Behavioral). Identify the type of question with each

question. The questions should be related to the position in your description.

• Please note you can include an application or resume as your first method.
