SHORT EXERCISE
Read through “If We Have It, Do We Use It?” by Nancy Gibbs.The debate about human engineering has ranged far and wide for decades, and continues to this day.
- Gibbs uses a number of examples to illustrate some of the ethical issues surrounding human genetic engineering. List three specific examples, how they illustrate the author's main points, and briefly explain Gibbs' overall position on the topic.
