Personal Bio
Explore the life of a person whom you consider to be/have been ‘successful.’ Define ‘success’ and discuss how the life you’ve examined meets that definition. What was their vision, passion, ‘calling, and core values?’ Describe their dominant skill or gift and analyze how it positioned them for success. What preparations did they make to develop their potential? Was there a ‘defining moment’ in their life, a critical ‘turning point, or’ crisis, an ‘epiphany,’ revelation/understanding, a commitment, decision, risk taken that propelled them forward? Was their success ‘linear’ or did they ever suffer a ‘setback’ and how did they respond to it? Was there a time when a decision, based on their core values, seemed to lead them away from the vision? Recommended length: 3-5 pages (please do not double space).
