Effective innovation

The product I want to use is Amazon or Netflix.

Each student will be required to write a research paper on an innovative product or service.  Paper should discuss the origins of the innovation; the products on the market prior to its introduction; the unmet needs of existing products that drove the innovation; your assessment as to why existing players ignored or missed that unmet need.

1. The product or service should be a product that disrupted the market
2. Explain how the product was disruptive and the market at the time.

The paper should be a minimum of 10 pages, typed, 12 point font (either Times New Roman or Arial), 1 inch margins, and double spaced.  All sourced material must be cited in a bibliography, direct quotes must be set off in quotation marks
