In your response you must include: 1.  One thing you learned from the paper.  2.  The greatest strength of the paper.   3. What do you think the paper says about American history (i.e. Your paper shows how many people struggled to achieve the American dream, but didn't make it).  Your total response must be at least 7 sentences long.

If I cannot tell which paper you have read based on specific details in your response, I will not award you any points. I will not award full points for responses that consist of: I liked this paper.  It was full of detail and many surprises.  You did a great job discussing the importance of Indian history. This is much too vague; I want specific details and will grade accordingly. Please treat others with respect and as you would like to be treated.  I will critique the papers when I grade them, so just focus on the positive aspects of each paper.

Do NOT copy (plagiarize) another student's paper from the Discussion Board.  If you do this you will receive a 0 for the paper; a 0 for posting; and a 0 for the response.  It is very easy for me to tell when someone does this, so don't do it.
