Hello, Class,

For this activity, you are asked to do three things:  (1) state your thesis and (2) the narrowed topic of your synthesis research paper. Please express your thesis in a complete sentence.  Also, it's okay if your thesis is still in "draft" mode, meaning that you may make additional revisions before you finalize your research paper.  In fact, feel free to improve somewhat on the thesis expressed in your first draft of WA3. 

Then, (3) write a paragraph of 100-200 words, discussing why you wanted to write about your specific topic for the synthesis research paper.  Feel free to inlcude the technological transformation theme that has been guiding your research over the last few weeks.  Also, please discuss whether your reasons for selecting your topic were based on personal experience or whether your reasons were motivated by your desire to learn more about the topic itself.
