Re:Module 6 DQ 2
As I put together chapter 2, I realize that I am going to have to make many changes to chapter 1. I wish that drafts of chapter 2 & 3 would have been due before chapter 1. My prospectus was a good outline for the proposal, but as I dive deeper into the problem, theoretical foundations and the review of the literature, I am honing my problem and pretty sure I am changing my theoretical foundation. I think that as I get more into chapter 3, I will also be making changes to chapter 1. Right now, my update would be that I have a very strong outline that needs to be filled in with the copious amounts of content I have been finding.
As far as working with my chair to revise my draft, I am very much looking forward to reading the comments on chapter 1 to find out were my weaknesses are and how to fortify those areas. I will read each of her comments, and make sure that I understand them, before I move on. I have had good conversations with my content expert and she has helped me to hone my problem, purpose, and theory. As far as completing a draft of chapters 1 & 2 by the end of this class, I feel that I will definitely have a draft, but as far as a final polished chapters, I am not so sure.
Some of the challenges I am having with chapter 2 have to do with sorting and accessing my notes. I am not proficient at taking note electronically, so I am sure that I am not using my compute to its potential. I did find an interesting video regarding using citations in MS word. I am sure that the younger generation is familiar with this, but I just found it. I wish I had found it earlier, but I guess better late than never.

How have you all been handling taking notes?
