1 Committed/Dedicated/Devoted I believe in supporting and encouraging my husband, my family, and loved ones. I work hard no matter the obstacles. 1) I have been committed to my husband and his military career for 13 years.

2 Supportive I believe in being supportive of my family and friends. I use my actions, words, and do everything I can to help them achieve their goals. 1) When my husband has had to move more than a dozen times for the military, I have completed all moves and then some in support of his position. I have attended numerous functions, changed careers, given up my jobs, and adjusted my life and dreams for his,
2) When my roommates, would come home, no matter my day, I would make sure I was there to comfort them.
3) When I drove to Austin to see my friend deliver her child and be with her.

3 Postive I try to be positive in the face of difficult situations to make times easier for others and myself. 1) Helped a couple get through a very difficult, medical time through positivity.
2) When people would be prejudice against me due to my religion and being a woman, I remained hopeful and positive attitude to live my life to the fullest.
3) Even though my husband and the military are not the easiest, I kept a positive attitude.
4) During the hurricane, I tried to be positive and "bright light" during darker moments.

4 Creative I utilize artistic skills throughout my life. 1)I imagine, create, design and produce art in vivid color, texture and detail since I was a child.
2) More recently in life, I devoted myself to designing and making jewelry, and ably researching, setting up and marketing my creations.
3) I have created pieces of art from oil and acrylic and pastel to fine jewelry.
4) When it comes to either making jewelry, marketing myself, or going back to school to better my future, I have that rare spark of ingenuity and creativity to make things happen for myself no matter the obstacles.
5 Hardworking/high work ethic I work incredibly hard always, no matter the assignment. 1) I tirelessly worked with and helped 18 people, ranging in age from 16 to 95, several with physical and mental disabilities, huddled together during difficult and perilous of Hurricane Rita's conditions for an extended period of time.
2) When I undertake doing something, I am 100% devoted and caring in seeing it successfully completed, and I am a “doer” that works effectively with others
3) I spent countless hours studying for exams, writing application essays, meeting with admission counselors and advisors, all so I could create the best opportunities possible in my graduate program.
4) I have dealt with numerous and continually health issues, but I never allowed the problems from stopping me achieving my goals.
