writing
Part 2--- Find a tweet off of Twitter or any other source where you can find tweets. Research what the tweet was about and write a news article of approximately 500-800 words. You are in essence creating what is known as “second source” journalism. This is the type of journalism used by many online publications like Buzz Feed, Huffington Post, Bust, etc...What this means is that rather than using firsthand information (interviews, research, etc...) that was done by the journalist/s, the writer/s are relying on the information from other sources or news articles/publications. They may be reading several articles on the same subject, and from that creating their own article on that subject.

Part 3---Write a short reflection (100-200 words) on how this assignment was for you. What did you learn? Was it challenging? Fun? Interesting? In other words, since you had to manipulate the article/Tweet based on what you felt was important what was it like to have to actually create the information you were disseminating to a fictional audience.
