English class reflection
Due in 24 hours, around 400-500 words
Instruction:
Your final assignment for this class is a reflection. Using bits and pieces of writing you’ve done over the course of the semester (or from Ways of Reading) I’d like you to create an essay that illustrates and reflects on the journey you’ve taken in this class.
Let me give you an example:
I never before realized the importance of the revision process when writing. In high school, I always wrote my paper, added some sentences, some sources, proofread my papers and then turned it in. In this class, though, I found my final draft (after all revisions) was a far cry from the initial shitty first draft. When I wrote my paper on Coates, the third paragraph looked like this:
Again, I will be interested in the development I see in revision across the portfolio and how you developed the content of each draft. I will be looking for evidence of your involvement with the course and of your willingness and your success in working on your writing.
Try to based on the draft which is written by myself, do some revision and make it longer,
English is my second language. Since English has evolved to become the most required language in education, I always aspire to develop my English skills. In this class, what interesting parts are revision and peer review.
Revision is not only for correcting your mistakes. But also summarize your essay to find your main idea, theise statements so that you can organize your essay more clearly and fluency.
