Differences in the nursing workforce in the contemporary community have had adverse effects rather than positivity in the nursing field. To begin with, these differences have led to increase in the workload of the nurses. In most scenarios nurses have been experiencing a lot of workloads and this has profoundly affected their work output. This work overload has mainly been influenced why the lack of enough individuals working as nurses. Secondly, the increase in demand for the nurses has also led to the work overload. This particular negativity has substantially increased service delivery and thus has resulted in a reduction in the expected output of the nurses. To deal with this issue, the healthcare setting should try and incorporate unlicensed nurses to deal with the shortages being experienced. Secondly, the community should be integrated into the patient care experience to bring out an all-around patient care system.

Examining the secondary data and assessing the data presented on nursing retention rate and cultural diversity of the nurses, the healthcare system has not been able to retain the nurses, and this has led to a lot of workload on the nurses. This has profoundly resulted in depletion of the required workforce. The data presented in the United Kingdom and the United States of America are of great help to policy makers when it comes to the development of workforce related legislations (Dreachslin, Gilbert, & Malone, 2013).

This particular project aims at ensuring that cultural diversity in the field of nursing and healthcare is enhanced to ensure that there is effectiveness in service delivery. Healthcare givers should be in a position to fully understand the values and cultural backgrounds of the patients. This will ensure that there is effectiveness in all dimensions of service delivery in health care. According to a report released by experts, embracing cultural diversity is one of the ways of ensuring that all the stakeholders in the healthcare setting are satisfied.

As a healthcare professional, I believe that this particular project is in line with my career goals and objectives. With this particular project, I will be in a position to unveil my full potential as a healthcare professional. In addition to this, I believe that the development of cultural diversity will help be productive in my work and also help me appreciate my clients and serve them without bias (Holland, & Hogg, 2010).
