Kathryn

I like Kathryn’s method in building teams and putting them on the right track. She was clever, confident, and patient when dealing situations. Kathryn started her process of fixing the team Decision Tech Corporation by first, observing the company’s VP’s and employees so she can study their behaviors and identify the issues within the company. Kathryn helped the team members to identify their strengths and weaknesses, which helped the members to improve and develop their strengths, and being aware of their weaknesses so the can find ways to turn it into strengths.

Kathryn was so smart that she was avoiding problems before they occur, when the company started to get back to track she noticed that there are to many members on the time which was going to be in issue because it will create more conflicts and different in opinion than they can even manage, she also knew that a team with an eight members might divide into a couple of groups which will limits the creativity and productivity of the meetings. Kathryn realized that the smaller the team the more effective it becomes which made her reduces the team number from eight to five.

Kathryn did a great job using the theory of The Five Dysfunctions of a Team Theory to help the team members to get along with each other, she was patient with the team and helped them to go through the five stages step until the become a united team who help and care about each other. By the end of her off-site meeting Kathryn helps the team to be willing to stick together no matter hoe the situation was, and she made them engage in more useful discussions and conflicts.
