1. Relate the religious practice of ecumenism to the overall story
Answer: Ecumenism is related to the conceptual basis of spreading the unity in the religion of Christianity in the churches. It is the movement showing the uniformity in idea and emphasis on the universal idea development. It is based on the idea development through the missionary breakthrough. After the fight in the outer space the enemies crash the world. This imagination tells us about the war and the war developmental ideas through the power of the words. Gratitude is not taken into account while making the relation in the world religious forces. There are some eternal rules to be followed in the world by all religious forces but these are not realized. The film related the idea to the uniformity. We should unify the religious idea to better understand the world and the recognition for our survival.
2. Compare Jeriba and Davidge’s relationship as the story opens to relationships between humans who hail from different religious faiths. What factors might decide whether such relationships are harmonious or antagonistic?
Answer: Jeriba is a drac with the(???) reptile skin. It’s from the humanoids alien. Davidge have a lust for the blood which has raised him the sense to war without discrimination. The relationship between them is the harmonious as they develop the emotional support provided to each other. They learn to tolerate each other views. No matter they are form different races and the religion but all religious forces are based on the harmony and peace. The human society is at unease and wanted to eliminate the difficulty in the ideas and approaches to understand. The going out of the kid and releasing the friends and the Drak slave’s rescue Zammis provides the approach to the harmonious relationship between them. Another approach to define the harmonious relationship is the missionary conferences and the faith.
3. Mention a favorite scene in the story that showcases reconciliation and/or an attempt by any of the characters to better understand each other. Do you think something similar can (or should) occur to reconcile the faiths of the world?
Answer: The ultimate end of the human and the alien is the home where they could live in peace and harmony. The human and the alien clash are due to the fact that they want to live in peace and harmony among their own race. They are not accepting each other or create harmony among them. The scene in which during the war like conditions Davige rescue Drak is done is the best scene showcasing the reconciliation. Where the idea of generating the harmony is strong where they can better understand each other through helping rather making conversations and deals. Helping and care is the language understood by every human being on the earth. This could be the point for the faith and reconciliation of the faiths of the world. As the love is accepted by the human and non-human being also.
4. If this assignment were a research paper would you base your research on Nostra Ætate or Unitatis Redintegratio, or both? Why?
