How & When is this Going to Happen?
April 3 School meeting to review safety plan with
all stakeholders. The superintendent will be present
for the Q & A session.
April 17 Finalize plan and submit to school board.
April 24 During this week , all staff will tak e part in
safety training including active shooter training.
Teachers will send a copy of the school safety plan
home with students. The information will be posted
on our website.
May 1 School rally to k ick -off Safety Week. During
this week, teachers will review the plans with stu-
dents and we will have a host of drills. Also during this
week, secure doors will be installed requiring every-
one who enters the building to identify themselves
and be buzzed in. The front office will require I.D.
from anyone that we are not familiar with.
