Service-Learning (bird house) reflection
Subject: Service-Learning (bird house or bat box) reflection
Think about answering these questions:
· What (did you do?)
1. I have looked online for some designs that will help me to build the bird house and I have picked some tell I found the perfect one.
2. I went to Home Depot to buy wood and some tools that I need to use for building the bird house.
3. I have started to build the house on my garage and took me around 4 hours to get it done.
4. I have faced many difficulties where the house got some leaking spots, so I had to find a way to fix that and change on the design little bit.
· So what (what are the consequences of your actions/inactions?)
1. I was excited and it was fun to build it.
· Now what (how does this affect your future actions?)
2. It helps me to understand more about the birds’ life and how important to help and do the best for the wildlife.
3. It helps to develop the idea of volunteerism and taking care of the wildlife.
*For the writer: you can fix and fill some gaps there on the questions and add some personal ideas that might help the paper.
The point of this activity was to have you learn more about issues that affect wildlife and the habitats on which they depend.
Plan on about 500 words. Be professional, and descriptive.
