Team (Strategic Narrative) Paper

Learning goal: To develop your ability to strategize as part of a team. You will form into teams and then select an organization to analyze/plan for, and inform me of your choice within one week. You will then use the following matrix as your guiding framework.

(JUST do the “Pattern OS” part. The company for this paper is Walmart)

(A detailed description of the Strategic Scaffolding methodology is presented in chapter 6 of The Geometry of Strategy .) You are free to introduce other concepts/frameworks as well. For the future, be sure to indicate both actual and potential competitors and collaborators. Your paper should be a maximum of ten pages , double-spaced, using 12-point type, not including appendixes, exhibits, and/or references. At least one-half of the paper should address the future.

I do not want more than one team study of the same organization; therefore, first-come, first-served. This organization should NOT be one of your former organizations, nor should it be an organization that any of you have analyzed before. Finally, restrict your data sources to those available to the public.
