Technology is constantly changing as time goes by and every business is trying to keep pace with the current business trends. The main aim of every business is to make profits. Making profits requires the business to increase its sales, and it can do so by ensuring that it maintains its customer base by ensuring that it attracts more customers and at the same time attracts new buyers. This technological era has seen many businesses change their trading tactics by diverting into e-commerce where sales worth billions of dollars are being made every year (Shneiderman & Elmqvist, 2017) It is now clear that nowadays thousands of businesses completely depend on the internet for their success. The internet has now emerged as a top source of commerce, social interaction, entertainment, and information.

Literature review

Development

The primary function of the user interface is to ensure that there is a proper interaction between people and the machines to improve. The interaction between the two ensures that there are effective control and operation of the machine by the humans (Glattan, 2010). The user interface design, therefore, must provide an efficient user interface that will be user-friendly and easy to use so that the users can be able to attain their desired results and objectives. It can only be achieved by ensuring that only minimum input is required by the operatorthe operator requires only minimum input so that they can achieve their desired output Comment by Dr. Singh: Add an Indent of 0.5 inch at the beginning of every paragraph. Requirements

The interface must be suitable for the task in that itto ensures that task there is taskis completion completed at all the time. Also, it must have controllability so that the user can be able to control the rate of interaction (Galitz, 2007). It also should have conformity with all the users’ expectations as well as self-descriptive dialogues. Also, the dialogues must be able to guide and support the user in learning, the dialogues must be tolerant to errors, and they are capable of individualization where the interface can be modified to suit the user’s needs. Breaking Dividing the screen area into sections greatly aids in organizing the documents and the creator must make sure that they create display rules in each section, like “what if a field is missing.” Consequently, they should consider messaging to display them in specific to make sure that all the possible links can be evaluated.

Design

Various processes occur during the designing of the interface. One is functionality requirements gathering. Here all the functionalities required by the system are assembled to accomplish the potential needs of users as well as the goals of the project at hand (Wolf, 23 May 2012). Also, there must be an analysis of users and tasks, how they perform these tasks and what are their goals. Information architecture will clearly explain the development of the process. The prototypes must be there to concentrate on the interface. On the other hand, the user interface design takes into consideration the possibilities of user inspection where the evaluator can inspect and evaluate the prototypes and the system’s specification (Mandel, 2007). Usability testing ensures that the prototypes are tested on an actual user, and the user can be able to give feedback on their thoughts during this testing experience. Finally, the graphical user interface design original look is implemented based on the findings during the research process.

Development

With the design, the interface should move with a balanced approach throughout the development lifecycle. Therefore, during the development, there are functional requirements which will determine goals and requirements for the website. Also, the conceptual design, logical design, and physical design are critical during the development (Yuan & Yu, 2010). The conceptual design indicates the underlying process that the website must support. On the other hand, the logical design designs the process and information flow, and the physical design usually decides how the sound design must be implemented.

Developmental costs

Most of the resources are easily available. For instance, Adobe Kuler is a Useful Tool which allows one to create, upload, and edit color schemes of their choice and this tool is provided for free by Adobe. On the other hand, Google drawing which is also free and it assists in drawing web designs (Wolf Lauren, 23 May 2012). However other tools come at a cost. For instance, Photoshop is required to design a quality site, and this tool is paid for after every month. It is undoubtedly crucial for coming up with the best design that will be attractive to clients. Also, the Wireframing tool is needed to produce mockups of user experiences, designing the website with the users and their needs in my mind (IBM Corporation, 2012). Redesign/Redevelopment

Some improvements as well as some redesigning of the website aids in improving the visual impact of the communication piece (Shneiderman & Elmqvist, 2017). Some features need to be added to improve search engine results, upgrade the web site’s management system and also to make it easier for clients to access the information and this occurs after some time of operation. Winners are always attracted to their winners, and they also like to learn from other winners and therefore creating a unique and strong user interface ensures proper coexistence with those interested in partneringcollaborating. Proposal

Iteration 1 – Develop a storyboard

I expect that I will be able to design an effective user interface which will ensure there is a successful interaction between the users and the machines. Iteration 2– Requirements

I expect that the user interface I create will have the controllability, conformity, error tolerant, and at the same time capable of individualization

Iteration 3 –Design

I expect various processes to occur during the designing phase of the interface. One is functionality requirements gathering, analysis of users and tasks, Information architecture, prototyping, and graphical user interface design.

Iteration 4 – Development

I expect that the user interface design will move with a balanced approach. Functional requirements, conceptual design, logical design, and physical design are critical during the development

Iteration 5- Developmental costs

I expect that some costs will be incurred while purchasing the tools. However, I am planning to fully maximize the use of free tools so as to minimize costs in the best way possible.

Iteration 6 – Redesign/Redevelopment

I expect that after some time, a need for change will arise and redesign/redevelopment will be necessary to cope with the situation at that particular time.
