A waveform 𝑓(𝑡) is periodic, with period 𝑇 = 1𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑, and is of the form:

𝑓(𝑡) = 2𝑀 0 ≤ 𝑡 ≤ 0.25 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑠

𝑓(𝑡) = 0 0.25 ≤ 𝑡 ≤ 0.75 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑠

𝑓(𝑡) = −2𝑀 0.75 ≤ 𝑡 ≤ 1 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑠

(i) Express 𝑓(𝑡) as an infinite Fourier series

(ii) Using MATLAB, generate an approximate waveform for f(t) using the infinite

Fourier Series expression obtained in (i). [You may use any appropriate value of k

when generating the waveform for f(t) and take M as equal to 0.75 ]
