As a student of University, everyone is pretty familiar with Tarble. Tarble is a art center on the dull campus of Eastern. Although the campus maybe dull, the art there is unique. Walking in, you can really tell that Tarble takes pride in what they display. I'm not a major fan of art but the work they have for public showing is eye opening. As the students walk around people begin to gaze at some of the work and take pictures with their camera phones. As they continue to admire the work, many come across one that just stands out. One causes the class to double take, actually read the information under it, and most importantly try to understand the culture of the art displayed.

Imagine a background as blue as the ocean, not too dark and not too light. Think of a beautiful woman, not from facial features but just the art of Gods creation. With hair covering up the ocean like background as if it was a million Titanic's and you're looking from 5000ft in the air. Beginning to feel joy the more you look at the art, from the smile that appears upon the face. In the hair you notice a lot of colorful objects. A few nature like objects if you will.

This creation is obviously feminine, not only from the hair but also from the pose that she is making with her hands. Her left wrist bent as if she was showing off her nails, and caressing softly through her hair. Right arm possibly doing the same but the more you look at it and think about it, the more uncomfortable it looks. Simply because it could also be awkwardly bent backwards as if she was front squatting using a barbell.

To see everything that is happening in this image you have to really daze into the picture. The more you look at it the more you start to notice. At first glance people normally just see a blank face female with a lot of hair. It usually takes a few to recognize that this piece of art actually has facial features. Not outstanding detail but enough to know that it's there.

The art is not very colorful but at the same time it has colorful features. The body of this woman reminds you of a mannequin that you see at the malls. Not only from her pale skin but from the model like pose and hand gestors. This could almost be the cover of a magazine minus all the interesting colors in her hair. The colors in her hair varies from: yellow, blue red, and orange. It looks like it could be more than that but those colors are used in a different ways and more than once. For example at the top and towards the right of her hair it looks like a red robin. The back has a darker red than the front and the legs are more of an light orange. Around the hair you notice more birds with different colors shapes and sizes. Then you recognize that it could be little fish as well. Maybe its nature that we're looking at. Maybe she is mother nature?

Throughout the body of the woman she contains tattoos or drawings. The tattoos seem like a cultural piece of art. You see flowers, holes all over like a bee nest, froglike images along the forearm. It seems like her entire body is covered in henna.
