1. Go to eclipse.org. Click “Download” and then click “Download Packages” under “Get Eclipse Neon”.

2. Choose the OS for your computer, Mac/Windows/Linux. Then click Eclipse IDE for Java Developers.

3. For my computer, click “Windows 64-bit”. Start downloading.

4. Go to the folder where the downloaded file is saved and then install Eclipse.

5. Launch Eclipse. You will see the following and click OK. This is the default folder where your Java

projects will be saved.

7. You do not have to configure Eclipse. If you are interested, you can do the following.

8. In Eclipse, go to Windows/Preferences … On the left, click General/Appearance/Colors and Fonts:

9. In the middle, click the triangle next to Java, and then double click “Java Editor Text Font.”

Then you can change Font. Click OK.
