Mission/ Purpose |
This projects goal is to automate the company’s timesheet system in order to increase the company’s productivity and to ensure the accuracy of the employees’ salary computations and performance evaluation tasks. This in turn will contribute to the accomplishment of the company’s objectives of increased revenues and increased employee retention. This project is part of the company’s initiative to eventually automate all of the administrative tasks within the company. |

Project Description and Project Product |
This project will create a web-based timesheet application that will monitor the employees’ login and logout times, as well as their daily tasks. This will be accomplished by using HTML and SQL as the programming language and database. The employees will be able to access the application within the company’s intranet.
The project will include the following high-level deliverables:

Business Need |
To create a web-based timesheet system that keeps track of the employees’ work hours and tasks. This would allow the employees to spend more time on their other tasks while increasing the company’s productivity. Also, the web-based timesheet system will be used as basis for the employees’ performance evaluations, therefore, increasing job satisfaction and increasing employee retention. |
