This is the hardest mission because the hunters shoot at Joel from all the angles, which makes it harder for Joel to reach Ellie safely. Joel is a really important character in the last of us because he was a survivor of the cordyceps brain infection. Which wiped out 60 percent of humankind. He also went through a lot of hardships when he lost his daughter, Sarah. Other then all the other people that he lost, even talking about the story of Sarah's mother still hurts him. Since he had to raise her as a single parent for half is life. Then the rest of his mission consisted of protecting Ellie, who was gonna be the savior of mankind. Joel also struggled to survive specially how hard it was for him after his daughter died. He wanted to commit suicide but just felt like it was wrong and he shouldn’t do that but continue to survive him and his brother, Tommy. He changed after his daughter's death because it affected him deeply, and he started being more like a hunter. He killed some innocent people and tortured them to try and survive.
The last of us, is a video game based on a cordyceps infection that affected humanity and Joel was one of the survivors who was responsible for saving Ellie. Since Joel was one of the main characters in the game, he played a big role trying to survive while saving the rest of humanity. He went through a hard time when his daughter was killed and he couldn't do anything to save her life. The game had a big impact on the players and made them feel as if they were part and in the game they needed to figure out how to survive their missions. Which ultimately opens up their minds and allows them to imagine themselves doing all the action. This game relates to a movie which has a cinematic effect on players when they are put in action. The player makes all the decisions as they go through missions. While there is a lot of violence going on in the game it’s a way of motivating players in continuing to keep playing due to its action. Although it’s quite addicting it also has a bad effect on teenagers, because they might mimic what they see in the game through reality in their everyday lives.
