Methodology
In this study, the methodology is qualitative with descriptive quantitative data analysis. The research team collected data from a survey. The main problem we are addressing in this study is how technology strengthens relationships between grandchildren and grandparents. This problem can be phrased in this overarching question: How technology strengthens relationships between grandchildren and grandparents.
Data Collection
In this study, the research participants are female university students in a private university in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The ages of the students are between 18 and mid-twenties. The survey was emailed to students the last week in November and the data was collected by the first week in December.
Data Analysis
From the survey, we will look for averages, means, and show answers to yes-no and leikert-scale questions as well as questions that asked for explanations. We will show some of the answers as percentages in charts or graphs. We will also look for common themes to the open-ended questions and the themes or topics from the literature review. We will use data from the survey and open ended questions to compare to the themes from the library research to answer concerns or questions our research problem.
