As identified from the aforementioned, the main problem happens to be that of security of web based business platforms. This can be eradicated by the incorporation of my product. It therefore becomes paramount that the user to have the output display module in close proximity as he or she operates the mentioned platform. In order to understand the utility of the product, it is ideal that one gets to know about the login process of numerous platforms.

There are two types of logins, the use of social networks and that of username/email and password which happens to be predominant in website platforms, (Borowska, 2016). In addition; it is also the earliest form of logins. This therefore comes to the application of my product. By providing another layer of protection after the password, it therefore becomes impregnable to have unauthorized logins into the system.

The main functionality of the 2 Step Verification system is to provide the One-Time Password that can be used to login into the desired systems. By providing a chance to verify the genuinity of the user operating the web based business, the user has complete confidentiality in the system. In addition, as it provides the gate pass into the systems the product nullifies the other logins thus preventing multiple accesses.

The general utility of the 2 step verification system can only be used in the event that there is another device in the vicinity or possession of the user. Such a device is a mobile phone either with network connectivity or without but either way it is okay. On the other hand, a Security Token may be used which can be used to display the required OTP, ("One-Time Passwords", 2016).

The key point to note is that the 2 step verification system encompasses the use of Software Token that generates the desired OTP which is displayed either on the mobile device or the Security Token, ("One-Time Passwords", 2016). This is basically the skeleton of the product that aims at the function of providing the extra layer of protection. As aforementioned, the OTP only lasts for a short window of time and thus can only be accessed with haste as opposed to the ordinary natural login system.

As already mentioned, the system that will be incorporated will therefore define the time the activation of the web based business will only be available once the system receives the request for the OTP and thereby relays the key to the Security Token or mobile phone. From there the user gets to use the key onto the system thus granting him or her access to the platform, nullifying all other logins and creating a secure a connection.
