Project Description: SLAKuTrack project is designed to provide universities and businesses alike with an automated system for tracking attendance. The project incorporates the use of a Raspberry Pi device that will be mounted in a custom housing near an entranceway to read information from RFID cards without the need to swipe the card. SLAKuTrack will also include a database and GUI interface for the purpose of reviewing the tracked information. This project, when finished, will increase accountability, replace manual attendance methods, and give moderators or professors an automated system where all records are readily accessible.
